Your Holiday in Rome
Rome Shopping guide
Rome’s a fantastic place for shopping with
designer outlets and department stores all over the city. It is
literally bursting at the seams
with a diverse array of shopping areas
that we mention here below:
The most obvious shopping areas are found around the
Piazza di Spagna. The shopping area around the Piazza di Spagna is the
most famous and is where you'll find all the flagship designer stores.
For a slightly less frantic (and perhaps less
intimidating) experience you might like to try the area around Via del
Governo Vecchio. Josephine de Huertas is a small boutique that carries
an eclectic range of designers.
If it’s
retail therapy in Rome you are after then the Via del Corso is a must!
Via del Corso
is a bustling pedestrianised street that runs all the way from
Piazza del Popolo down to Piazza Venezia. The via del corso is very
popular with locals and tourists alike and is home to famous shops like
the Ferrari store, Swarowski Crystal and the Messaggerie Musicali di
ROMA which is open really late and 7 days a week!
